Scouting is open to boys and girls from age 6. Check out About us for more information.  If you are interested in joining pop along to one of our weekly meetings, mail us on info@navanroadscouts.com or complete our on line form on our contact us page.

Our Beaver colony for  ages 6 to 9 years meet on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 7:00 pm

We have two Cub packs one meets on Tuesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and one on Wednesdays at 7:30pm-9:00pm. 

The Scout  troop meets on Wednesdays at 7:30pm-9:00pm. Venturers meet on Tuesdays 8:00pm to 10:00pm.

How much is Membership

There is an annual membership fee of €150 per child which covers insurance for all events,  the costs of running the group and those associated with registering each scout with Scouting Ireland. All Cubs and Scouts  must also purchase a uniform at a cost of approximately €60.00.   

 
The beaver uniform consists of a royal blue sweatshirt and Scouting Ireland trousers, The cub uniform consists of Scouting Ireland trousers and navy sweatshirt.  The Navan road neckerchief pictured above is also part of teh uniform and is worn around the neck with a wggle.  The scouts uniform consistes of Scouting Ireland trousers and shirt and the Navan Road neckerchief and woggle.  For all groups black shoes must also be worn which are not included in the estimated cost of €60.00.  Uniforms are not available from the group but must be purchased from the Scouts Shop, 34-35 Upper Liffey Street Dublin 1 (beside side entrance into Marks and Spencer) or can be purchased online at www.thescoutshop.ie. The uniform must be worn to all scout meetings and events.
